Vicar's Green Primary School

Believe Achieve Succeed

As this school year draws to a close, I cannot help but reflect on what an extraordinary year it has been for all of us. When I set out in September 2019, at the beginning of my first year as Headteacher here at Vicar’s Green, little could I have imagined what this year would bring. I knew it would be challenging and potentially testing at times, as I was a new Headteacher, but never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined what a year it would actually turn out to be! However, now that we have reached this point, I think that so far, we have weathered the storm that is Covid 19 comparatively well. I can’t pretend it has been easy and, like Headteachers all over the country, I have had my share of sleepless nights, nevertheless I am proud of the way we have all coped together through this difficult time.

I would like to thank you all for the support and forbearance which you have shown through this challenging time and I am sure you would like to join me in thanking all the staff for their efforts on behalf of all our pupils this year.

I wish you all a happy and healthy summer and here’s to hoping that the new academic year will be more predictable than the last one!

Kind Regards,
