The summer fair is approaching fast and here at school we are all busy preparing so this becomes a fun and exciting event for the children. I do hope that the warm spell will continue and we will be able to host a range of exciting outdoor games for the children to take part in. As always, these events are never successful without your ongoing support and please may I request you to send over donations, which can be used as prizes for various games such as raffles, tombola etc. We are also going to have a cake stall, where we plan to sell homemade cakes and therefore I am reaching out to all our bakers for donations. All donated cakes can be dropped off at the school office from 12 noon on Friday 11th July 2025.
Thank you so much for your continued generosity—we can’t wait to celebrate with you all! Let’s make this Summer Fair one to remember!
Temperatures are expected to rise over the next few days and we are trying to think ahead to ensure children are comfortable throughout the school day. Please do not send children to school wearing jumpers and tights as this may cause overheating. If possible provide them with a cap and apply some sunscreen before they set out for school. In school, we will rethink the structure of lunchtime outdoor play and PE lessons if the heat continues to rise.
Today is the first of our sports days and I am not only excited to watch the children flaunt their sporting skills but also looking forward to watching the various parent races!
