Message from the Headteacher
As we near the end of term, we’re getting excited for our Summer Fair on Friday 11th July! We are currently collecting donations for our tombola and would be incredibly grateful for contributions such as unopened bottles, toys, books, toiletries, sweets, or other suitable small prizes.
The fair will also feature our talent contest, Vicar’s Green’s Got Talent! We’re looking for a variety of acts – singing, dancing, musicians, poetry, comedy, or anything else your child can do! Auditions will take place the week of 30th June. Please help your child practise and ensure they have the song name or YouTube link ready for their audition.
This week has been very hot, and the forecast remains the same. Please ensure your child:
- Brings a water bottle
- Wears a hat
- Has sun cream applied before school (no bottles in school)
- Wear cool clothing – no jumpers, cardigans or tights, please.
Looking ahead, we are also preparing for our EYFS, KS1, and KS2 Sports Days – always a highlight of the summer term. The dates for each event can be found in the calendar section below.
Finally, a big thank you to the families who attended our Reception Induction Meeting last week. It was wonderful to see so many of you and to begin supporting a smooth transition into full-time education this September.
