Message from the Headteacher
We are all feeling the buzz of excitement here at Vicars Green as preparations are well underway for our Summer Fair, which promises to be a fantastic event for our whole school community. Over the next few weeks, we will be sharing more information about how you can get involved and support – so please keep an eye out for updates coming your way.
It’s been a very busy time in school, with lots of learning, activities, and important milestones being reached. I’d like to take this opportunity to say a big well done to our Year 1 and Year 4 pupils, who have now completed their statutory assessments. They approached the challenge with great resilience and independence, and we are incredibly proud of them.
The final set of trips to enrich this year’s curriculum are all taking place now. Pupils are visiting exciting places such as London Wetlands, Perivale Woods, Odds Farm and West Wittering so they can experience all the knowledge gained inside the classroom in a practical and outdoor environment. Please continue to pay for these trips as without your support and contributions it would be impossible for us to provide children with these exciting opportunities.
As always, we know how quickly the summer term can fly by, so please do check the diary dates regularly to stay up to date with everything that’s happening – from trips and performances to class events and end-of-year celebrations.
Warm regards Iman Basu Roy
