Message from the Headteacher
Welcome back to all our children, families and staff. I hope you had a restful and enjoyable holiday—whether you stayed close to home here in London or travelled to explore other parts of the world.
As we step into the summer term, the final third of this academic year, we look ahead to a busy and exciting few months. This term is full of opportunities for learning and growth, with a variety of school trips, visitors, and assessments taking place across different year groups.
Alongside these events, I’ve been working closely with Mrs Simpson, our Deputy Headteacher, to develop a Parent Workshop Calendar. These workshops will cover a range of subject areas and helpful topics, and we look forward to sharing more details with you in the coming weeks.
Earlier this week, the country marked St George’s Day on the 23rd April. St George is the patron saint of England, and according to legend, he famously fought and defeated a dragon—symbolising the importance of courage and standing up against injustice. It’s a story that reminds us to always strive for what is right.
Lastly, we bid a temporary farewell to Ms Stopa, our teaching assistant in Kestrel Class, who has returned home to Poland to spend time with her family. In the meantime, we’re pleased to welcome Ms Wise as her immediate replacement in Kestrel Class.
Warm regards Iman Basu Roy
