Message from the Head Teacher
As we approach the Spring half term, we reach the halfway point of our academic year. This week, I visited many of our classes and was delighted to see children actively engaged in their learning, and speaking confidently about what they have been taught this half term.
During the half term break, it is important that learning continues. Children should complete the homework set by their class teachers, as this reinforces key skills and helps them return to school ready for the weeks ahead.
I am also pleased to introduce our Vicar’s Green – Family Padlet, an online platform designed to support our families. Through our Padlet, you will find a range of information about school holidays, SEND support, parenting workshops, and information about events happening at Vicar’s Green.

Finally, Ramadan will begin during the half-term for our Muslim families. At Vicar’s Green, only children in Year 5 and Year 6 are permitted to fast. If you would like your child to fast, please ensure that you complete a permission form at the school office. Without a completed form, we will not be able to permit your child to fast in school.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our Muslim families a very happy and peaceful Ramadan.
