Message from the Head Teacher
This week has been an exciting one across the school, with a range of curriculum enrichment activities taking place. Year 4 enjoyed a fantastic trip to Kew Gardens, which supported their learning in class around plant diversity, rainforests, and biomes. The children were highly engaged and represented the school wonderfully throughout the visit. A member commented ‘How organised and well-behaved the children were!”
We also celebrated Number Day, linked to the NSPCC charity. Children took part in a variety of fun and engaging maths-based activities, helping to raise money for a very worthwhile cause. It was wonderful to see such enthusiasm for maths across the school, including the range of number inspired costumes worn by both children and adults.
Online Safety Day 2026 focuses on using smart technologies and AI safely and responsibly, while building awareness of online scams, misinformation, and disinformation so people can make informed, safe choices online.
As we begin February, the weather has been particularly wet. Please can we kindly ask that children come to school with appropriate waterproof footwear, as they are outside for playtime, lunchtime, and some PE sessions. This helps ensure they can enjoy outdoor activities comfortably and safely.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support.
Warm regards Iman Basu Roy
