Message from the Headteacher

It gives me immense pleasure to share with you the outcome of the OFSTED inspection that took place on 22nd and 23rd May 2024. Vicar’s Green Primary School has been judged by the inspection team as an ‘OUTSTANDING’ provider. The school was graded ‘OUTSTANDING’ on all five aspects of the inspection and therefore the school’s overall effectiveness remains Outstanding. The report will be emailed to all parents via parent mail this afternoon and should be published on the OFSTED website by the middle of next week.

I am absolutely delighted with this outcome as it not only recognises the hard work and dedication of the entire team, but also validates our vision and the direction in which the school is moving forward. The report acknowledges the consistent procedures and policies of the school which have resulted in exemplary pupil behaviour and attitude to learning. They were particularly impressed by the school’s dedication to go above and beyond the national curriculum and provide pupils with experiences and opportunities that widen their horizons, deepen their learning and make them into aspirational individuals.

I would like to end my message today by expressing gratitude to all our parents and the committed team of staff – as together we all achieved this for Vicar’s Green Primary School.

Warm regards                                                                       Iman Basu Roy
