Message from the Headteacher

This is our first newsletter of the academic year and I do hope everyone has had a good summer. We are also excited to welcome new families and staff to our community and look forward to a year filled with rich learning opportunities, special events, and celebrations of our pupils’ achievements. Together, we will continue to grow, in our learning.

School is now back in full swing and with the Senior Leadership Team I am busy planning out the first six weeks of term. We look forward to welcoming you to the year ahead meetings, where we will discuss how this year will look like and also have our Maths and English lead speak to you about how to help your child at home. I am appreciative of the effort you put in to attend these meetings and have therefore tried to plan the meeting so its most beneficial to you. The dates and times can be found below.

I am delighted to begin the term by sharing some wonderful news: our school has won the Best Garden Award in Ealing for our sustainable, edible garden. This achievement is a true reflection of the hard work, creativity, and care shown by our teachers and children. We are so proud of what has been accomplished together, and this garden will continue to be a source of learning, joy, and community for us all.

Mr Dwyer is leaving after being with us for four years to pursue a career in IT – and we wish him all the best. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with him and watching him grow and develop in his professional expertise.

Warm regards                                                                       Iman Basu Roy

Best New School Garden 2025!
We are thrilled to share that our school has won the Best New School Garden 2025 award at the Ealing Biodiversity Awards for Gardens and Green Spaces.

Earlier this week, four children from Year 6, who were part of last year’s Eco Team, proudly represented the school at the award ceremony at Ealing Town Hall. They attended alongside Miss Beczko, who led the development of the school garden, and Ms Lydon, Assistant Headteacher and Eco Team Leader.

The children were absolutely delighted to accept the award on behalf of the whole school community, and the certificate was presented to them by the Mayor and Mayoress of Ealing.

This special certificate will now take pride of place in our school’s trophy cabinet.
