Message from the Headteacher
With the arrival of spring, we soon celebrate one of our first events of the season, Mother’s Day. Mothering Sunday will take place this coming Sunday, a special time to be with our mothers if they are near, reach out to them if they are far, or cherish memories of them if they are no longer with us.
As we approach the holidays, I’d like to share a fun activity for families to enjoy—an afternoon at Covent Garden. Every year, they host an interesting egg hunt around the area, featuring beautifully designed, brightly coloured eggs created by various artists. This is something I have done with my own children when they were young, and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. If this sounds like something your family would enjoy, you can download The Big Egg Hunt app for more details.
I would also like to remind parents that we continue to work with Junior Adventure Group, which offers both breakfast and after-school clubs. This is a paid service, available on a full-time or part-time basis, with flexible options to suit your schedule. More details can be found under the Parents section on our website.
In the coming weeks, we will share information regarding summer term clubs. Please note that expressing interest does not guarantee a space, but further communication will follow.
A reminder to parents, whose children will be starting Reception in September 2025, the council allocations for will be released on 16th April. Please check your emails and council accounts, and remember to accept your allocated space if you are happy with it.
Finally, as we near the end of the holy month of Ramadan, I would like to extend my warmest wishes to all our children and families celebrating this weekend. Eid Mubarak!
Warm regards Iman Basu Roy
