Message from the Head Teacher
As we come to the end of another busy and rewarding week at school, I would like to reflect on the many achievements across our community. Our pupils continue to impress us with their enthusiasm, resilience and kindness—qualities at the heart of our school values.
A particular highlight this week was our Maths Morning, which was a tremendous success. It was wonderful to welcome so many parents and carers into school and provide an opportunity to see learning in action. Our children were especially excited to become the teachers for the morning, guiding adults through up-to-date strategies and demonstrating how they use manipulatives to deepen their understanding. Their confidence, clarity and enthusiasm made us all incredibly proud.
As we move through this cold snap, with temperatures plummeting, I would like to remind families to ensure children come to school well wrapped up. Please send pupils with winter coats, gloves and scarves, as they will continue to go outside during break times. We also ask that children wear joggers for PE, as outdoor sessions will still take place, ensuring everyone stays warm and comfortable.
My thanks, as always, go to our dedicated staff for their hard work and to you, our parents and carers, for your continued support. I wish everyone a restful and enjoyable weekend.
Warm regards Iman Basu Roy
