Ms Angela Waters

Name: Angela Waters

Position in the Governing Body: Staff governor and link governor for board diversity

Why did you decide to become a Governor at Vicar’s Green Primary School?

I decided to become a governor as I thought it would be an interesting and different way to contribute to our school community.

What do you think that Governors can bring to Vicar’s Green Primary School?

I think governors can bring their expertise in different areas as well as their curiosity and supportiveness in helping the school to grow.

What are your interests in Education (SEN, Business, Literacy...)

I have now taught at the school for thirteen years (I think - losing track!). I love teaching and being a governor offers a different insight into the running of a school and all the practicalities behind it.

Brief history of your career, life and background

After leaving school, I completed an English Language and Literature degree at UCL, then did a PGCE at Durham University.
