Exploring St Paul’s Cathedral!

Year 2 Step Inside History!

The children in Year 2 enjoyed an exciting visit to St Paul’s Cathedral, linked to their History topic on The Great Fire of London. They travelled on the Tube and were amazed by the breathtaking sight that greeted them as they stepped out of the station.

Everyone was in awe of the magnificent building, which was rebuilt after the Great Fire of London. Inside the cathedral, the children explored photographs and artefacts connected to the fire and confidently shared what they had learned during their history lessons.

One of the cathedral volunteers commented on how well-behaved and knowledgeable both classes were — a wonderful reflection of their enthusiasm and hard work!
