Why did you decide to become a Governor at Vicar’s Green Primary School?
I decided to become a Governor as I wanted to be actively involved in the decision-making process of the school that both my sons attended.
What do you think that Governors can bring to Vicar’s Green Primary School?
I believe Parent Governors bring an insight and their own experiences into the important aspects of educating our children.
What are your interests in Education
I am passionate about children achieving their potential both socially and academically.
As a bilingual myself, I am particularly interested in bilingualism, English as an Additional Language and Policy and Practice.
Brief history of your career, life and background
I live in Perivale with my two sons and husband who is an engineer working in the telecommunications management sector.
After completing my BA degree, I completed a qualification in teacher training and thereafter pursued an MA degree. I have also completed a number of professional courses in education and have worked in a number of sectors within the field of education.
